What?
North East Skills is the biggest hands-on, have a go, interactive, exciting careers event in the region.
Whatever career you’re interested in there will be something for you at North East Skills from aerospace engineer to zoologist to chef to therapist to midwife to financial advisor.
Where?
Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle
When?
Wednesday 21 & Thursday 22 September with your school or college or with your parents or family.
How?
When you arrive at North East Skills you’ll need to find your own way around, so a bit of planning and preparation means you can target what you want to see.
Have a Plan - start thinking about who you want to meet and what questions you want to ask.
Don’t be afraid – everyone there wants to meet you and chat about careers and opportunities.
Get involved – this is your chance to have a go and try out your future career.
Don’t just collect bags and brochures and leave them to rot in your room, share the information with parents and friends and you might find they can help you get where you want to be.
We want you to have a great time at North East Skills and have fun finding out about the serious issue of what to do with your future.

Coming to an event can seem like a just a day out of school but North East Skills is packed full of exciting and interactive stands. Your future matters so find out what your options are and if you’re interested ask questions.
