There are currently four inspirational and interactive events promoting careers and training to young people aged 14-19 in the portfolio - North East Skills, Skills North West, Skills West Midlands and Skills Yorkshire and the Humber.
Whether visitors are at school or college, starting work, a teacher, parent/carer or family these events can change the future. Each event aims to inspire, inform and educate people about the options available whatever their abilities or ambitions by showcasing local, regional and national opportunities.
The events are run by Prospects Events with the intention of developing these events nationwide.
In November 2009 Prospects Events ran the first national event, Skills Scotland. This hugely successful event will run again in 2010. For more information visit www.skillsscotland.co.uk.
Prospects Events delivered Skills London 2008 for London First, the UK's biggest careers event. Prospects Events are contracted to deliver Skills London 2010 in October at ExCeL London. For more information visit www.skillslondon2010.co.uk.
